This page matches the privacy policy shown inside the Glide app for iPhone.

Welcome to Glide

Glide is a Solana DeFi application that helps you manage your cryptocurrency portfolio, swap tokens, and track your transaction history. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle your data.

1. Data we do not collect

Glide is a fully local, privacy-first application. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your data to our servers. Specifically:

  • No transaction history is collected by us
  • No wallet addresses are sent to our servers
  • No personal information is collected
  • No analytics or tracking data
  • No user behavior monitoring

Local data only

All data stays on your device:

  • Wallet addresses (stored locally on device)
  • API keys (stored securely on device only)
  • Token metadata cache (local only)
  • Transaction history (fetched from blockchain, cached locally)

This app is purely client-side and works directly with Jupiter, Helius, and DexScreener APIs.

2. How your local data is used

All data processing happens locally on your device:

  • Display your portfolio (fetched directly from Solana blockchain)
  • Fetch real-time prices (from Jupiter, DexScreener APIs)
  • Execute swaps (directly with Jupiter Aggregator)
  • Cache metadata locally (for offline viewing)

Since we have no servers, there is no data to sell, share, or misuse.

100% on-device processing.

3. Third-party services

Glide connects to the following third-party services to provide functionality:

Jupiter Aggregator

Purpose: Execute token swaps and provide swap quotes. Glide charges a 0.5% platform fee on swaps, from which Jupiter takes 20% (0.1%) as their infrastructure fee.

Data shared: Token addresses, swap amounts (sent directly from your device)

Helius RPC

Purpose: Fetch blockchain data, token balances, and transaction history

Data shared: Wallet addresses (sent directly from your device)

DexScreener API

Purpose: Fetch token metadata, prices, and market data

Data shared: Token addresses (sent directly from your device)

These APIs are called directly from your device. No data passes through our servers.

4. Data storage & security

  • All data is stored locally on your device only
  • We do not operate backend servers or databases
  • Transaction history is fetched directly from blockchain (not stored by us)
  • Cached data uses iOS standard caching (local only)
  • API keys stored securely on device (never uploaded anywhere)
  • Private keys never leave your device

5. Data retention

  • Cached token metadata: retained until cache limit reached or manually cleared
  • Price data: cached for 1–5 minutes, then refreshed
  • Transaction history: stored locally until app is uninstalled
  • Images: cached until manually cleared or iOS automatically purges

You can clear all cached data at any time through the app's Cache Management settings.

6. Analytics & tracking

Glide does not collect analytics, crash reports, or usage statistics. We do not use:

  • Third-party analytics services (Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)
  • Crash reporting tools
  • Advertising networks
  • User behavior tracking

7. Your rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control:

  • Access: view all cached data in the app's Cache Management section
  • Delete: clear all cached data through Settings
  • Export: transaction history can be viewed within the app
  • Uninstall: all data is removed when you delete the app

8. Age requirement (16+)

Glide is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 16. If you believe someone under 16 has provided information through the app, please contact us.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect when changes were made. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
